Rather than hijack the Hook thread....
I have been hearing about people fishing Bite-A-Baits and have looked at them at several tackle shops...
Which of the Bite-A-Baits are you guys using?
Minnow?

Walker?

Or the Shad?
Or is there another one I don't know about?

Both. I really like the suspending slimline. Overall I like the slimline over the fighter series.

South GA Outdoors has them. I noticed their supply was pick over but Heath will order whatever you want.
I was at St. Joe Bay back in July and doing real well on trout with a particular Bite-a-Bait. Ended up losing the only 1 I had to a nice trout. Pissed off, I called Heath to see if he could order some replacements. When I got back he had the lures waiting on me. Its hard to beat that kind of service.

I like bite-a-baits, but they need to make a few changes. One is to replace the split rings and two I have had more than one fish pull the whole hook attachment off. Maybe they could wire them together to the eye you tie you line to, like they do with other lures. Just a suggestion fot bite-a-bait.

Bite a Bait has been a NFGFC sponsor all of 2007.
We give away Bite a Bait lures at most tournaments and raffle them at NFGFC meetings.
All there baits are productive, some more than others.
You can purchase them in the area at South Georgia Outdoors,Kevins Sporting Goods and Jerrys Bait and Tackle.
You can also order them direct from Bite a Bait.
Hope this helps.
