Wishing I had a kayak

Mah bote is at the Porter's shop getting a few adjustments. I am jonesing for sum flats fishing action.
All I have is a little river canoe that I can't sit in for more than a half hour w/o a break.
My 15' john has only a trolling motor. Fine to fish the sukkee right now. Guess that's what it will be for now. Went yesterday morning and only 4 specs.
Porter will have my flats boat ready before next weekend, equipped with a tach and a WP gauge. Next a 4 blade prop.
So I'll surf the net some more......
