In most respects, today was a better day. Not nearly the wind. No rain. And a few more fish.

Launched at the fort at around 7 this morning. First stop yielded 1 trout. We made several moves during the morning, most spots yielding mainly shorts. Finally hit on a little something after the tide turned. Don't know how much good that will do us tomorrow.

The down side of the day..............I had JT51 in the boat.

Total for the day, probably 15 keeper trout, and 2 reds.

We'll be back out there tomorrow.

The Redfish was 45-48 inches long.
The water was 18 inches deep.
The guy on the other end of the rod had a solid hookup.
(about 25 feet from the boat)
The Redfish began to thrash and roll.
Bye bye Redfish.
Bye bye Redfish lure.
Bye bye leader.
Bye bye line.
