St. Marks 15SEP07

I was planning on getting the boat in the water bright and early, but my lack of sleep from the week caught up with me. I had the boat in the water around 12:00 and headed east from the light house. Only two fish in the boat were some healthy 17" trout. I didn't feel like cleaning em (going back out tomorrow) so back they went. I had two good reds on, and was kicking my self both times they got off. One spit the hook after a good little fight, peeling drag. The second broke my line off...The timing on the tides were less than ideal, but I just wanted to find some new holes. Hopefully I can keep some momentum going into tomorrow.
