I'll be fishing West Bay next week for the first time, any areas to go to for trout/reds. Any good boat ramps on west bay? :)

There are no fish in west bay

There is a ramp at the base of the HWY 79 & 77 bridges....There is a ramp on Burnt Mill Creek off of HWY 388 on S Burnt Mill Creek road.

Fish the creeks and points...it goes from deep to shallow quick watch where you run...Look forward to reading your report

North Bay, East Bay and St. Andrews proper (between the Hathaway Bridge and the Dupont Bridge)...All are good at times...I fish West Bay, North Bay and East Bay...I stay out of St. Andrews proper due to boat traffic.

I have been fishing it for two years, reds are easy to pattern, I can't figure the trout out though

Man, I just can't seem to make patterning (word?) the reds in PCB "easy." Probably need you to splain that to me again...I'm a slow learner :-D

Yep. Once the ladies found out BD invited us scalloping they quickly informed me that my schedule changed. I did manage to bring my bad luck to the scalloping scene though. All year, BD had been slaying the bi-valves, then he meets up with me and nada. JT's step off into the deep channel was entertaining, but what was equally amusing was that I was showing off my first caught scallop to lil' BD and the response I got was........that thing sure is little....gave me a ppppffffttt, then donned his mask and went back to hunting. :-?
