Grouper digging 9/27

Thought that I would go try to find some new grouper numbers out of Mashe Sands with two of my buddies. We got on just before sunrise and headed south after passing the final channel marker. Marked some bottom about 20-25 miles out. Dropped line about 5 times but no bites or even trash fish. Got bored with trying to find new spots and decided to go to the tried and true out of Bryson Reef. Final count for the day.
2- 7 foot Sand Sharks
1- 4 foot black tip shark
2- gag grouper (24", 28")
1- 70+ lb Cobia (lost due to bad gaffer @ the boat)
1- smoker king 48"
4- Amberjacks
