Need a stable boat for the river that I can have a dog or two in and go fishing and not turn over like an aluminum jon boat might. I was planning on putting a 9 1/2 hp motor on it. Boat trailer not needed, but would be ok. And I can come pick it up.

Gheenoe Classic is what you're looking for. It's a little longer than 14', but works great for small rivers and is powered fine with a 9.9 or 15 on it.

How much do you want to spend? I have a 16ft Carolina Skiff with a fifty-horse Evinrude that I am selling!

Could have some more information on this one above? Your $800 boat sounds nice, but I can't afford quite that much.
