Got out To St. Marks Lighthouse about 9am, after dropping son at school, he looked real sad.

The Gulf looked like a pond, great looking day. For the first 1 1/2 hours we regularly caught fish, almost all on the top water diving lure.

Tried out near the buoys with pinfish, trying to get a cobia,no luck.

Started drifting from the birdrack picked up a couple more bites, lot of ladyfish, but sure beats the past winter bite.

Started to get windy and pretty rough around 2 pm, headed in.

Total 5 trout and 1 spanish in the cooler. Good day.

Also made it back in time to catch the NFGFC meeting, Grouper was topic
Lots of info, good crowd, won a cooler..Good day, Very Good day

Fishing, eating, fellowship, and presents to boot. Yes RX, I do believe that would fall in the "very good day" catagory. Great report. You didn't say what kind of floating/diving plug. Would it be a RedFin type plug?

Morning RX,

Good Report. Make sure you make up with that boy and find time to get him out. Having 3 grown up boys, I can tell you it will come a lot quicker than you will be ready for when he'll be to busy or to far away to go with you. Good to meet you and Reel Country last night. Have a great weekend and hope you fill that cooler up :D

Sir Reel, thanks for the opportunity to win the cooler, I will try to fill it.
Tin CAn, Monday will be my next chance to go. I don't think the
weather will be good enough.

I've got a daughter at UoF, and I know they grow in a flash.
I'll have in out in the boat in short order..
