Another epic tale of the Ghostrider
Made my way to the boat ramp at about 8:30, I awoke to a nice clear sky and no wind. The no wind lasted until I put the fly rod in the boat
.
I ran across the bay because spot number one had a boat on it...I had thoughts of being on a 30' Fountain as I worked the throttle from one wave to another, I believe it was a good two foot sea in the middle on the bay. I made it to spot number two and another boat was working it...well after rough ride over he was gonna have to share....I ran about a half mile down the bank and started fishing.
It didn't take long before I see a red swipe at the gold piece of metal....next cast produced the first fish on the day,

I worked on down the bank and caught a few more reds...I decided to go the the 40 redfish spot...I arrived and caught one red

Off to another spot I had fished once before and found some clear water. After a few minutes I locked into a nice fish.

I fish around here and there, had a few good strikes on topwater, but no good hook ups...I had one red hit the plug all the way to the boat.
Ended up catching one more red.

Ended up catching 7 reds, biggest was 26.5"...Lure of choice was the piece of gold metal with a hook.
Boat ran good...put 29 miles on her today, caught some fish, had a blast can't wait til next time.
