I have the same radio wevans - but black, and I like it. Unfortunately I got to use it this evening to talk to ole Reddie Red....

Wevans - did you hook up the NMEA for DSC and/or do you intend to? If not, let me know and I'd prolly like to take the GPS cable off your hands and trade cash or something... If you did do it, what kind of plug/connection was on the non-radio side of the unit? Mine is brand new but came with the boat; still had the plastic wrap on the mic and cables, but I didn't get the box and I don't *think* the GPS interface cable is attached, although it may be...boat is enjoying a stay at Porter right now so I can't check till I get it back...

I wont be hooking it up on my boat

It is a small jack "similar to a headphone jack, but slightly smaller" that plugs into the radio and a Red and a Black wire coming out that you solder to the NEMA wires coming from the GPS

If it sounds like it will work on yours, we can figure out a way to get it to you

Good deal - as far as I know mine is identical to that but black - has all the same buttons and features etc...the GPS cable *might* be hooked in to mine. I do recall that there was a cable wrapped up in a bow coming off the back of the radio when I was in there fiddlin with somethin else; I wasn't lookin for a GPS cable at the time and I think I assumed it was the rest of the antenna wire, though it did seem kinda thin for that. Like I said the dealer that sold me the boat put it in brand new and still had all the wrapping on it etc, but he didn't pass the box or manuals on to me. I don't think he'd have had any use for the cable, so that might be what the extra bundle of tied up cord was hangin off the back...guess I'll find out when I get my boat back.
