Spring Creek to St Marks 10/9

Took a vacation day and Miss Tara and I headed out. Had to drop off a kid at school, so got on the water about 11:00 and ran from SC east. Upon arriving noted a one boat way east of us and told my wife that has to be TC...who else would be out here on a Tuesday as I knew BD was werkin
Well off shore worked a school of mullet at the tail end of the rise, tons of water, SW breeze just as not predicted. TW skitter landed the first fish of the day:

Worked alot of TW hoping for some trouts but no go today. As with partner down east, it was slow during the end of the rise until the top of the rise and the fall:

T. took picts which made it bearable. Power pole was awesome again. An unforseen benefit is holding a position while fighting a fish, on a windy day, your not blown out of position, and back in business right away.
Ended up with 2146 reds, well actually somewhere just over 20, with a dozen or so 18 ers. Headed in about 5:15...left em biting.
Can't wait till next time, going west I think.
