Nolediver excelled today with a 36" Redfish in less than two feet of water. His secret for catching these big lunkers is to cast and start putting on a nice coat of Sunscreen before setting the hook.

Thats an awesome fish in that shallow water on a Gulp Shrimp.

JSuber -

I was checking out the yak fishing reports on your forum and noticed a small plow-type anchor in one of the pictures. Can you tell me where you got that anchor?

I have a small folding one for my yak that is not working too well in these winds we have been getting lately. I blew most of the way down the back side of St. George Isl. dragging it behind me this past weekend.

Thanks - Steve Stinson

I order them online. Usually ten at a time then sell the rest at no mark up to club members. I don't try to profit off the guys or their desire to fish. I have a link to a site in Austin Texas that sells them

Thats a nice red. At times it takes a good grip to hold them still for the photo
