Hey Im from Pensacola and Im going to Ochlockonee state park this weekend and I was wondering where some good places are to catch redfish with a canoe. Any additional information would be nice such as baits and tides. Thanks

The back side of the Island is a good spot for them, as well as both of the points of the Island. The point closest to the convergance of the three rivers seems to hold more fish when they are there  Deep bends and creek mouths also. I have good luck with the Blue Sardine and Spotted Minnow colors

I also have decent luck with a Blue/Silver Top Dog and Spinner baits :-D
Good luck  I may be out there also "in a 17.5 G3 with SOPCHOPPY REDNECK" on the sides" :smt004

Hop in and go towards the Gulf. Redfish have been coming up to the state park since the water from the Ochlochnee has been slowed to a trickle.

I wonder how he did? I went out there last weekend and did well, trout-wise. My buddy caught a fat overslot red.
