I caught about 14-15 trout that were 14.5"-147/8"...only got 1 at 19".

Wind got up pretty good today. Didn't get up the creeks, looked too crowded for me. No reds for redbelly.

That's it. Sometimes good, sometimes still good just being out there. :-D

Redbelly.....I went to Aucilla with Dixie Reb yesterday....9Nov07. I left there with no trout in the box....but I caught 8 short trout , 6 of them measured 14 1/2 in long. We fished both left and right of the river...on the flats and Dixie Reb caught 3 trout that went 15 1/4 in, 16 in and a great big one of 20 in.....to the right of the river. He caught several shorts too.
It was one of those days...where we said "there's a good crop coming on"....but I've been saying that for 8-10 years.
Tried the river too. It was zero. :-?
Windy too.

I talked with a guide at the ramp coming out and he said he has had some 100 trout days this year. Lots of keepers. Said you had to know whar particular area they were in or you were SOL.
Said in the summer he works SGI and this year they had probably the best ever.

I might try to chase speckled perch tomorrow at Talquin.
