Better get on down to Anky.....quickly!

If you enjoy trout and reds in shallow and very clear water then
Anky is the place to be! Rather dramatic tides over weekend
dictated fishing in afternoons under bluebird skies. Little to no wind
made it easy to watch fish in the clear water from a distance, often
from the strike to the boat. Does it get any better? Methinks not!
Never fished over about 3 feet and found reds and some trout
in creekmouths but most trout slightly outside shoreline on Gulps
under CT and slow sinking with 1/16 oz jigheads with lighter colors
more productive. Reds liked both spoons and spinner baits but only
got "lookers" on topwater for whatever reasons.
"Bluebird" Red...

Sunset...

It was difficult to leave 'em bitin'!
