St. Marks 11-18-2007

Andre, Sean and I got a little bit of a late start with lines in about 9:30. We had planned to both fish and dive. About 2 minutes into trolling Sean got a nice 29" gag in 18 feet of water. We continued trolling and never really got a rally. We would pick up a fish here and there. Lost several nice fish and released a few right at 22". Just after the tide turned about 2 we got on a good rally bottom fishing and added 5 more to the box. Trolling baits were blue hologram Stretch 25/30 and the YoZuri HydroMag minnow in yellow/black. Bottom fishing baits were cut Ly's.

Water was clear and we could see bottom all the way to 35 feet. We decided against diving since we had no room in the cooler anyway. Water was 1 foot in the am and flat on the way in. Back at the dock at 4:30.

Tally for the day:
10 gags 23-29"
1 26" red
2 suicide rockbass

If you could get Canon or Nikon to sponsor the site, I might have a camera. Until then, I'll just have to save my pennies until I can afford a new one.

Yep, I thought it might have been Bad Behaviour, but he did not answer back on the radidio.....

Upon being a little closer to it, I saw it was not his boat.

We never could get a bottom bite on pins, just caught em trolling....

Had several kings hit hard, and caught one....then things are some fun....
