Keaton Beach 11/19/07
Posted: November 19th, 2007, 6:11 pm
Tom Keels, Sonny Blanton and I launched from Keaton Beach this morning around 8:30. We headed north and fished the oyster bars near Spring Warrior. Tom and Sonny put on a redfish clinic. They also put on a pretty fair trout clinic. I mostly drove the boat and took pics.
Around lunchtime, we headed south towards Steinhatchee. The tide was just about done oozing out, but we still found a few trout in the skinny stuff.
We worked our way back north and were loaded up by 3:30.
Finished the day with 7 redfish to 24 " and 14 trout to 22". Caught'em on soft jerkbaits, spoons and popping corks.
I had a great day Tom and Sonny. We'll do it again soon.
Can't wait til next time.
