AGP Clams... Day 1- Steamed Day 2- Chowder

Post by bman »

I worked late and the wife is at the Nutcracker with some girlfriends.
So I picked up some of the clams that they are farming at Alligator Point.
We have cooked them a few ways in the past and they are excellent!

Tonight I steamed them in Butter, Marsiella wine and Lemon Juice...
Rince them well

Put the seasonings in the pan and heat them till the pop open.
Throw away any that do not open- all of these did.

Great post. Looks pretty tasty BMan.
I noted the clam recipe and will try it in Cedar Key ("Clam Capital of the nation").
