How many years is a fiberglass hull good for?
I am looking at some 10 year + boats. Seapro, Aquasport...etc.

Experts will probably say: "It depends". On how the hull was kept (under roof, under cover, on trailer, in the water) and whether the hull had integrity (no cracks or unfilled holes). If water was allowed to infiltrate the hull and/or the transom then interior wood will be shot. And, of course, whether the hull was well constructed to begin with (don't buy an old Bayliner).
My 1986 Aquasport was still in good shape when I sold it 15 months ago because it was kept covered on a trailer, never had standing water left in it, and no unrepaired damage to soak the wood when used.
Of course, nothing lasts forever, but many hulls of 10 plus year's age are very good.

I HAVE A COMPOSITE FIBERGLASS LAPSTRAKE LARSON THAT IS 65 YRS. OLD AND IT IS STILL A GREAT BOAT. IT HAS BEEN KEPT UNDER ROOF SINCE IT WAS NEW AND IS AS GOOD TODAY AS IT WAS THE DAY I GOT IT. THERE ARE A FEW HAIRLINE CRACKS ON THE TOP DECK BUT NONE ON THE HULL. IT IS LIKE AN OLD CAR, YA TAKE CARE OF IT AND IT WILL LAST FOREVER.

Indefinatly????
All 5 boats my dad and I have owned in the past year are 70s models and are tough as nails.
In the CC world 70s & 80s Aquasports & Makos are good hulls, along with 70s Seacrafts.

I resemble that!
I have one rule of thumb....when bilge output (running constantly) equals leak(s) input(s) it's time for trip to boat hospital!
I am loved by boat and motor repair people!
