Fished the falling tide on Saturday and focused on my efforts up the east river .
Found a large school of pup reds tailing on a point and caught 6 until I drifted too close and spooked them ….”Need That Power Pole” lure of choice 1/8oz white jig with a NucChick…..

On the way back to the fort I stopped and watched a group of dolphin herd mullet on the shoreline…… pretty cool…

Monday I took my Dad out for a quick AM trip and decided to check out a few new spots around Wakulla Beach, and got completely skunked !!! I’m not sure if it was the tides or what but it just seemed to quiet on the water….. No tailing or any surface activity…..off the water by 11am.

Dolphin are a hoot, as long as you're not trying to fish around them
