I was wondering if it was alright to do any small game hunting in the National Forest. I'm pretty new to the area and to hunting and I don't know if you need a permit, or if there is a season for it, or if you have to wait for deer season to be over. Any help you guys could give me would be great.

There is small game hunting in the National Forest you will need a mangement stamp along with your hunting license to hunt there.During deer season there are alot of dog hunters hunting the forest.A management stamp will run you $27.00 and a hunting license will run you $17.50.The Florida fish and game commision has a good web site that also offers alot of information on public hunting areas hope this helps you some.

Any of you guys ever have any luck at Bradwell Bay? I'm thinking about going out there. I wouldn't mind doing some hog hunting and I heard Bradwell Bay (not Bradwell Unit) isn't too bad.
