I want to give kudos to Mike Marine Ways in St. Marks for a perfect fiberglass repair to the cap of my HPX-T. I figured the non-slip surface would be difficult to duplicate....it is seamless and appears new....it had a crack in the cap by the old pop up push pole holder which they removed. Did the job in 3 work days. Matched Gel coat perfectly too. 300 bucks. Very pleased. They have done work on 3 boats I have personally seen, an action craft, egret and proline and the owners were all very pleased with their work...all looked new when finished.

Also, thanks to Dale and Advantage Marine for getting my old scout in and out for a check up and fuel pump so I could complete my sale on time   They open at 6 am you know .... If you haven't stopped by the shop they have a great selection of saltwater gear and looking to expand even more. Several lures/color combos you can only get there. Great stuff...

I also highly recommend Mike's Marine Ways in St. Marks. (not to be confused with Mikes Marine) My boat was in a car accident while trailering it and although the damage was minor they had to lookover the entire boat. They did an excellent job of repairing all the stress fractures and also filled the holes from an old troller motor mount. They matched the gelcoat perfectly and it looks brand new.

Yes, please don't confuse these folks with Mike's Marine of Panacea. I purchased my Whaler from them and when they serviced my engine, they reused the foam gasket for the oxygen sensor and nearly left me stranded 25 miles offshore with a guy who had recently had a heart/kidney transplant and another going through chemo. I won't be back :smt011
