Hey - I just got an email from:
Internal Revenue Service
United States Department of the Treasury

After the last annual calculations of your fiscal activity we have
determined that you are eligible to receive a tax refund of $496.23.
Please submit the tax refund request and allow us 3-9 days in order to
process it.

A refund can be delayed for a variety of reasons.
For example submitting invalid records or applying after the deadline.

Best Regards,
Tax Refund Deparment

I hate to burst your bubble, but someone is pulling your leg hard. However, to cure me of my skepticism, when the check arrives, endorse it, send it to me and if it cashes, I will apologize profusely :smt005

The IRS does not send this type of information via email... :smt011

The company I work for has had several employees receive fake emails from the "IRS" recently. None that match this exactly, but similar.
