**Extended Warranty on Ford**

I'm in immediate need to purchase an EW on Mama's Navigator.

I'm considering Ford Ext. Serv. Plan (ESP) but would like to know if anyone has any experience - good or bad - with this or another plan.

I have read of some horror stories where service shops refuse to honor plans due to delays or arguments in details on other plans.

Thanks!

I got the EW on my F250 when I bought it and luckily haven't had to use it.

According to financial guru's, this is one of the worst investments you can make. Rarely is it used and when it is, many times you find that what you have wrong somehow isn't covered. If I were to buy one, I would probably buy one from the mfg. However, you should know that about 50% of what you pay is a commission to the seller. You can bargain them down.

I have bought them and never used them :-? ....if it is say $1800 for a powertrain warranty....$1800 in a CD making 4% is much greater than $1800 hoping for something not to happen and gone after a certain time...IMO
