FlounderPounder and I fished for about an hour just before dark. It was kind of a deadbeat tide, however there were a few reds lurking around. Flounderpounder caught his first throwback trout of the month. We caught several slot reds then hightailed it back to the hill. I think I'm gonna do some scout fishing in the boat this weekend. The weather looks promising in spite of the poor tides.

Great trip and report guys. The two "w's" (weather and work) have kept me from fishing for a while. It's good to be able to get on and live vicariously through your reports.

Nice to only need a couple hours to get out and fish, and catch fish.
Kayaks are like cheating.

Nice day guys. I'm definately jealous. Team CIA is gonna be tough to beat on on february 9. I'm going red hunting in the morn for the first time in a month...thank the Lord!

Probably gonna anchor in about 5' of water in the rock garden and sling CT's.

Might want to wait until Sunday.
