Carrabelle 1-29-08 **LATE POST**

Spent the last 2 weeks trying to get some pics off my camera. Finally got 'em so here's a late offshore post from 2 weeks ago.
The forecast called for rain all day and it was a bit chilly and breezy. It was either go fishing or sit at home. We chose fishing, braved the elements and actually had a good time. It only rained briefly and the sun even came out at one point. I called a buddy of mine that backed out because of the weather and he informed me that they were getting soaked at the Rattlesnake Roundup in Ga
We fished 1 spot all day and manged a few nice keepers.
Here's what our spot looked like....

Here's Will with a good bite......grunt???

It actually ended up being this....

I didn't fish much, but did manage this keeper...

Jeffry and Will with another nice one...

Had an interesting visitor also....

We did manage 6 keeper gags and a few scamps. We also caught numerous rock bass and grunts which ended up making some nice bait too
Fished in 40-45 ft. and water temp was about 62. The grouper hit live bait, squid and LY's.
