These two photos are of the Lake Hall ramp - as you can see the water is pretty low.

In this picture, the trailer tires are just off the concrete pad of the boat ramp.

I did fish today, despite the wind (10-20 MPH, a few 30 mph gusts) and got one bass on a jerk bait and a bream on a wooly bugger (great fight from the bream on a 4wt). Fly fishing is an interesting experience in high wind - I think I invented some new curse words through inventive and perhaps anatomically impossible combinations.

At least you got out terrier......well done mate......great boat for those awkward launching times, I have a 12 ft lowe sea nymph for just those conditions back home here  plus I can sneak it onto some secluded private water

That 12' boat is really all you need for Lake Hall, especially with the ramp so low. The bimini came with it - I've used it a few times, but mostly it gets in the way. It is nice to sleep under on slow hot summer days.

Wadey, how is the weather in England? Spring will be springing very shortly here - the pollen is already falling on the water!
