I am looking at the garmin 182 to replace my handheld gps. Any suggestions on the best place to buy, price and service ?

Go to gpsdiscount.com or gpscity.com and get their best price, print it out and take it to West Marine and they will price match it. That is what I did with our 240 Blue and my GPSMAP 76s.

Gps city has the 182 with external antenna for 639.00 and garmin is offering a 100 rebate when you trade in an old GPS or loran (any make). That's a pretty good deal.

pops,mall24-7 has a 182 w,external for 598.00 if you dont have one to trade in
