Just a reminder to all my fishing partners here. Check your junk. Be sure you have all safety equipment, first aid, fire extinguishers, life jackets(that fit), throwable, sound device, and flares( check the exp. date). Make sure your electronics are working. Check your vhf radio and have some type of backup communications device. I dont know about you guys, but my cell service sux at Keaton. Check all your electrical connections, alot could have corroded since the last time you checked. Check your batteries and carry some spare fuses of assorted sizes. I like to keep enough food on my boat for 48-72 hours. Yes, most of us fish inshore, but the gulf floats out as much as in!! Heres to hoping we get to fish this weekend and a safe and fruitful tourney season to all!! DISCLAIMER( This is for informational purposes only. Kind of a little back rub to you guys, so when BB dominates this weekend, ya'll can all say, "Hey, they may of kicked our azzez this weekend, but them's some good peoples!!!!" ;-)

This is not what I thought this thread was about.

BB I didn't know you cared so much 'bout your fellow anglers.

I've got one year left on my 5 year license. By then my food stamps will be approved and I won't have to buy a new license.

Just sharing the love wit my bruthas and sistas!! Actually, me and SEASPOT got checked last week and the flares were out of date. Let me go with a verbal. Actually, Ive been checked now four times in the last two years and every FWC officer Ive met so far has been real easy to get along with. They seem to be a real class act!

I like what the last FWC guy told me about the exp date on flares as mine was about to expire....he said "get some new ones but don't throw away the old ones cause when you're out there and need to fire flares it don't matter what the date of them is."

Yup, My flares expire in april, so I guess I better get going on an order. Does CairoTrout carry them? (Pistol style shells)

All my other "junk" is in order :-D
