Got to grace my boat with Noleflyfisher today and try some Keaton Reds
We launched about 7:30 to what was supposed to be a negative, but there was plenty of water (that front must have pushed water north). We ran some skinny water looking for tails. No water moving and no fish moving.
Nole was nice enough to pole first, and we found reds right away, but without a tide moving they were still and impossible to see. Bumped a dozen or so fish.
As soon as the tide moved, tails began to appear. Nole spotted a red crossing the bow from port to starboard and with his good direction I was able to find the fish. A solid eat and a good run, but after a bit the fish was soft released. Nice guide work!
Noles turn on the casting platform. The tails were really up now and he did not dissapoint. A nice cast to a pair and a good solid eat and the fish was on! Nicely done Nole!
This "decent little fish" turned out to be tournament fatty at 27"

Tails were everywhere, but soon dissappeared. Crazy, but the fish were just done.
Ran to a new spot and nole found a 23" red. I think he has a 6th sense.
We then found a huge school of reds but the wind was being a beotch and the clouds covered us up. Game Over.
Really enjoyed the morning Nole....learned a bunch and had fun!
Can't wait till next time.
