Got a late start, due to a late night. Put in around 1:00pm and headed out. I was fishing with a beautiful young ladie named Nina who was on a mission to catch her first trout and Red.
At our first stop she caught a 18.5" red and was "stoked." I missed a couple of trout and we decided to head further east. We arrived at our second spot and she hooked up instantly. The 25" Red gave her a run for her money but she eventually landed it. Next was a 22" Trout, and then a 20". I ended up catching another 22" trout and then a 19" before we decided to head in.
All fish were caught on flukes and twitch baits. It was a good day, and I think she'll be coming back.

My father and I went out today around 2:00. The fishing was much slower than yesterday but he managed to catch a 25" red and loose another that was a tad larger. I had a couple of bumps on the fluke but only ended up with one fish at 19". All in all it was a good father and son outing.
Congrats to Casey, Pat and Brandon on a heck of a stringer.
