We launched out of the St. Marks River at fort. When we got out there it started out as a slow bite but as the day wore on we starte catching. We were directly in front of the lighthouse fishing right beyond the channel doing a slow drift. We first started catching the fish on a cajun thunder with a foot and a half of leader and a jig head with a berkley gulp. Then the bite slowed down for that and i put a mirror lure underneath my cajun thunder and that produced. We also used a cajun thunder and a jighead with live shrimp on it. WE alternated between these throughout the day and produced about 20 short trout, 3 keeper trout, 1 gator trout that wa 26", and a spanish mackerel that was 25". All in all it was a fun day considering we were out on our pontoon boat with my 2 year old niece.(She caught her first trout.

Way to stick with it. Sunday was a day you had to work to find what they wanted.
