St. Andrews April Fools

It was April fools day for sure. Been on vacation in PCB for spring break this week. Got a kitchen pass for a few hours of fishing. Started out inshore West Bay and saw nothing, caught nothing. Trolled for Spanish in St. Andrew Bay. Nada. Went out to the whistle bouy and other areas, no love. It was beautiful out though. Slick calm and perftect. Just didn't find the fish. I spent all my time in the 90% of the water that the fish were not in. :D

Main this today that I learned was that my new 10# Power Pro started breaking on me when casting. I know it wasn't the knots. The line broke just above the knot the first time. I retied and the very next cast it broke again about 4 inches above the line. Not cool. I think I have two fishing trips on this line.

Heard that caught some near the pass today...plenty of fun with the bull reds in the pass....pull a stretch through the pass

Thought about it and would have, but opted not to because of the dredging out fit and, at the time two big ol' ships coming through. That was probably the 10% of water I was looking for though. Would have been fun to hook into one!
