When a dentist asks for help with an extraction.... ya know it's a bugger :bang_1 :o

Without knowing what your dealing with specifically, my pat answer would be to back off the prop shaft nut until it's flush with the end of the shaft. Spray a good amount of WD 40 or alternate. Tap lightly on the prop shaft nut just enough to set up a vibration through the shaft. Spray again and let it set over night. Next day take a large screw driver or some other similar implement and place on the back of the prop so some leverage can be put on the prop towards the end of the shaft. Take a good size hammer (16-20oz at least) and tap on the prop shaft nut while prying up with the screw driver. If necessary, hit it harder!!

Or you could just run down the Ecky tear the whole foot off and start over. I don't recommend this option but it'll take care of it.

Hey old buddy, I have seen several props removed at the local marina by heating the prop with a butane torch allowing it to expand and then tapping it off.
Good Luck,
Steve

Make you up a prop puller. All you need is a couple of pieces of 12" allthread rod, a couple of pieces of bar stock, and a 1/2" or 3/4" bolt.

You can find a diagram of one on the internet if you can't picture it. Lots of different ideas.

Make one and it will last a lifetime. That is if you don't loan it to a friend.

You could buy one but it is so simple to make I'd save my money.
