redfish can break your heart!!!!!!

Sunday afternoon at Anky......caught several really nice ones but two of them just straightened out 30# snaps and kept on truckin' with new Capt. Mike's spoons!
After a few minutes I did see one of them briefly as he turned to say goodbye....never even saw the other one!

I hear what they are saying about the drag- but that stinks!!
The ones that ship with the Chug Bug stink too...

I think he was talking swivels but you're right, Chug Bug hooks & rings always get replaced.
I used Capt Mikes spoons yesterday and had no trouble with twists so I question whether you need one. I don't like to fish spoons anyway but the cloudy what say's you nearly have to. Maybe I'll e-mail MIke & ask him.

sounds like you found some nice fish...
my .02--switch the snap swivels for barrel swivels and use them for a braid to leader connection v. line to lure connection. problem will be solved

Iv'e lost many a good fish to snap swivels, never use them any more
Barrel swivels only

I never have these problems. I just don't hook any fish, then you don't have to worry about it.
