Certified canoe instructor?

Do we have anyone on the forum who either is... or knows of someone who has this certification? Had a call this afternoon from a friend who needs to be in contact with one. Thanks.

Sounds like one of those things that as long as you have a canoe, paddle and insurance you can call yourself an instructor.
paddle on the left...you go right. paddle on the right....you go left.

Yea... it's pretty simple stuff... sorta like giv'n somebody your phone #...
I had never heard of it before either but after checking a few sites including Wilderness Way, it's a bigger deal than you might think. The kayak folks may be able to help out.

used to know a several near Boulder Junction, WI. Don't really have contact with many of then now...but what are you looking for; remote assistance or someone in the area

Call Rob Baker over at TNT hideaway--- 925-6412. He is certified for paddling, is a captain, and is very knowlegable of the area.
