Left shields at 8am and headed to the west flats. Same old story, short trout here and there, but nothing to brag about. One keeper spanish in the boat. Headed in shallow (2-3) as the tide came in. Since we were still not happy with the slow bite we headed into little pass to check it out. 2 other boats joined us. Not much action other than a few short trout. Another keeper spanish. Finally at about 3pm we headed out to the east flats to give it a go, NADA!!! So we decided to hit a creek for one last shot to save the day and the fight was on!!.....

Found a creek and caught 4 reds in about 10 min. First red (see above pic) 26", second red 23", 3rd just barely under 18", and 4th was about 16".
Final tally...
15 or so short trout
1 hard head cat
3 keeper spanish
4 Reds, 2 to bring home.
All in all it was a slow day but it was much better than the alternative. All fish on gulp. Water temp was 66 to start the morning but warmed up to about 69-70 by the end of the day.
