Thanks for the replies, wevans and ALUMA25. Those were good rigs, but not close enough to what I'm looking for. It seems like the more rigs you've owned and the more you analyze any particular rig, the more difficult it is to find a used bargain rig. That's not to say it isn't worth trying, though. I'd still like to get a used rig at a good price that's very close to what I want: 16' aluminum jon; basic 3 seater; 2-stroke 25hp manual start premix portable (tiller) motor; galvanized trailer; optional fish finder and bow mount manual trolling motor; AND not more than 5 years old AND $4,000! Maybe that's unrealistic for such a used rig. I'm in the process of pricing a new rig to see if I'm in the ballpark. Anybody with any input would be appreciated.

Jus' goes to show ya! New rig with G3 1648WL (15'10", 270 lb dry, 70" beam, 920 max. load capacity), trailer and 20hp 4-stroke Yammie is $4,995 (25 hp 2-stroke is no longer made, so dealer says). So 5 less hp and 9 more pounds of motor weight is just $995 more, NEW, than I was willing to pay used! Plus, a little more gas mileage for 4-stroke over 2-stroke (and less noise and smoke). Always look before you leap! I bribed one Chalk's so-called buds and he put me on where I can easily catch a 10 pound trout! Tons o' redfish and flounder too!
