Wakulla River 4/27

Took the kayak and put in at Lower Bridge a little before 4:00 this afternoon. The river was higher than I expected and rising. Worked a 10" Culprit worm rigged weedless, no weight, along the banks. I don't know what color Culprit calls this, it's dark green with glitter. Went up the east side of the river from the bridge and back down the west side. Only fished the wide, shallow, grassy stretch. Got a bunch of strikes, but I think a lot of them were stumpknockers. Which is why I don't usually fish soft plastics in this river. Landed 3 bass, all largemouths, the big one 19".
Also worked a chartreuse Moss Master Tournament Frog, but did nothing with that.
I think next time I fish this stretch under these conditions I'm going to use a small slip sinker.
