St Joe Tourney 5/3

Woke up early today with a 1 1/2 hour drive from the "County" to St Joe Bay. The wind was blowing when we got there around 10-15 mph. I brought my smaller boat (15' Alumacraft) since my brother and his boat were on the DL. I brought along a good friend Kyle to fill in .
Kyle started the day with a nice 23" Trout.
We fished in the morning basically protecting ourself from a stiff south wind, We hooked up with a school of reds which produced a 23 and a 24 1/2 fish .
The wind around 12 noon died to 10mph and I broke out the topwater again and caught a 24" and a 26" trout in under a half hour. We also caught a number of mid slot trout.
We had a great time today fishing a new area, catching alot of quality fish and getting to meet fellow members.
