Has anyone heard if they will come out with a fuel injected 2 stroke model in the midrange HP's?

And do the jet drive motors give the same hp at the foot as the motor rating?

According to the press releases I got today that coincide with their 09 launch, all emphasis is on the four-strokes. New 40-hp, new line of props to support the V-8 and digital controls for the F250.
Can't say for sure about jet drives, but from folks I've talked to who have run them, horsepower is significantly less than standard prop engines.

A 90 horse outboard is the same motor as the 60 horse jet drive. You lose 1/3 of the horsepower at the lower unit with the jet drive.

I saw on a forum that in Jax the jet drive tunnels are getting popular. That kind of boat would make sense around here also. They say the new "durajet" is a mo' better unit as far as not clogging and control.
