Hi all! Been a long while since my last post...
Seems the grouper are ON FIRE recently. We went out of Mashes Sands on Tuesday to about 55 feet. The weather man called for 1 foot but he was wrong. 4-5 was more like it. This doesn't bother us usuals but the two guests on board provided plenty of chum as the day wore on! Leveled out in the afternoon and all-in-all, it was a great day. Ended up with 13 grouper, bunch of grunt and small snapper, and a big king. We caught multiple fish on every pass and could easily have come back with our 30 fish limit. Instead, we came back in early and had time to clean-up, relax and cook-out! Plus, if we don't "slaughter" them, there's plenty out there for the next trip!
