Put in around 10 and headed north. Stopped at the bird rack about half way in toward the shore line. First cast 18 " trout I thought this will be a short fishing trip I figure we limit out shortly, boy was I wrong. We fished and fought the wind rest of the day we left around 6:00. We fish from grass line all the way out pass the bird rack. We also fish south past that bird rack out to 10' of water found no real pattern. water was stained to murky, water temp was anywhere from 73 to 76. We fished gulps and salt water assasines with jig heads. Caught most of the fish with bait with chartuse color in it. Sea bass everywhere all to short, caught 20 are more short trout,a flounder out at the bird rack, several cats. Ended the day with 8 keepers from 15.5 to 19.5. still beats work any day.
