Hey,
Just wanted to report the water at Keaton is ROUGH!!
We went out yesterday for about 2 1/2 hours and it was all we could do to stand on the deck. Forecast was for 1-2 ft. seas with light chop in protected waters. WRONG! It was really windy,could not move around as much as I'd like to have. Igot a 17" keeper in 5 ft. right outside the last channel marker, wind died down for a few minutes so we went over to Adams beach and got into a few boats. One short sea bass and no trout, wind got up again so we headed back in. Stopped at a few spots close in but no bite. Lots of small pins, though. Wife threatened to divorce me if we did not go in, so we gave it up at 10:30. One trout on ct pinfish rig.
Lots of floating grass, also. Hard to fish in it.
