Good morning, all! I'm up early @ 4:30 (yeah, you think?) getting ready to launch my first adventure in quest of some big catfish.

Anybody out there chase these grouper sized whisker fish?

If so, I would like some advice, as I am learning the sport from the "seat of my pants".

My partner & I are headed over to the Upper Flint River section (below Bainbridge) this morning to try our luck. I'm told that the Flathead Catfish (our prime species)are fairly common throughout the Lake Seminole region. I'm also given to believe that the big Blue and Channel cats like to eat the same baits as the Flatheads (live Bream, Shad, Shiners, Suckers, etc.).

Soooooo, I'll give a report by tomorrow and, hopefully, some of you out there in cat land can educate me as to what the heck I'm suppose to be doing correctly in searching out and catching these huge kitty cats!
