I went West today in search of all these poon everyone was talking about...I didn't see any of them but I found some skinny water holding reds...I landed four, kept a 25" for tonight's dinner. I thought it would be respectful to eat the first tailing fish I have ever caught...towards late afternoon I went to try my luck at trout fishing and caught 6 shorts, 1 20" but released it. All in all it was a good afternoon alone in God's country.

Nice report F&G. Sometimes it's very relaxing to get out on the pond and just do your thing with nature.
