Econfina 5-31

Got on the water about 9am. Lots of boats out there, but fortunately they were all already launched, so no wait at the ramp. We fished hard until 3pm with not much to show for it. 6 keeper trout, the largest at 16" and 3 rat reds. 10-12 short trout and lots of short BSB. Also caught a baby gag. Nothing real exciting. We fished from 2-6ft. Slightly stained to gin clear water. Never really got on 'em. But, I guess every trip can't be perfect.

At least you got out and back in Ak. It was a beautiful day on the water.

Hey, 6 aint bad for this week. it's been kinda slow. We heard the trout have gone out real deep, like 12-13 ft.

after fishing all day....that was my conclusion, the trout must have been in mostly 10-12 ft of water

Ya did better than I did. Not a bad trip at all.
