Mexico beach fishing

Post by reelnauti »

I'm going to Mexico beach for the first time the week after July 4th. I am looking for any advice that may be offered as to the type of fishing that I can expect. My boat has both inshore and offshore capabilities. Thanks guys.

PSJ Bay for Reds, Trout, Flounder, etc. Indian Pass to the tip of the point for Tarpon, Cobia. Trolling the buoy line is always a good spot for Kings and Spanish. Offshore 120'+ for Snapper, Grouper. Stop in Half Hitch and Bluewater Outriggers for the latest reports and they can point you in the right direction and supply any tackle needed. Enjoy your trip!
