NFGFC Tourney Cobia 33 1/2"

This is that Cobia from today's NFGFC tournament. Just 1/2" short. Still a nice fish. This was caught on the fourth cast of the day. Stripped about 40 yards quick before I got it to turn and I was palming the spool pretty hard. Had a blast today.

Correction 32 1/2". If it was 33 1/2" I would be 100.00 richer.

I have caught too many of those barely shorts in tournaments. Good effort. Maybe next time.

We put a 30" short in the boat and spent way too much time messing with 3 50#ers!!!! Cost us in the tourney.

How deep of water are you in when seeing the cobes? I go fishing at least 4 days a week and have yet to see one up here..Im dieing to hook up with one.
