Lake Blackshear **Late Post**

I forgot to post my trip last Saturday to Lake Blackshear. I got to the lake at 7am and put my boat in at the dam. We headed up to the North end to look for some shoal bass on the river. I generally fish in the southern section of the river south of Albany for shoal bass, but I got a tip of a spot just north of the lake. As I headed past the park I noticed an elderly couple in a pontoon stopped in the middle of the channel. I thought something was wrong so I went over to them. As I got there I saw they were watching the HYBRIDS FEEDING!!!!!
We quickly spun around and tried to catch some. They wouldn't hit the normal baits, rooster tails, rattle traps, countdowns, etc. I started throwing a 7 inch black worm and they tore it up! Nothing really big but it was SO fun. The picture below shows the average size, not big but fun. These dudes pull like crazy and we had a blast.
